Lately, I've been seeing a plethora of bloggers post lists of everything they hope to accomplish this summer and since I'm a lover of lists, this might be a good chance for me to publish a list and then of course, it's out there in cyberspace and I therefore become accountable to all of you.
Oh! Wait! Hah! Looks like I'll get out of posting that list today after all. Mr. J. just reminded me that I'm supposed to post pictures of this fabulous package I got in the mail the other day from the Little Goat's Auntie Tamra in South Korea. Without further adieu, I present:

Strange and Possibly Tasty Treats (or Not) from Korea
Noodles with instructions in Korean and "nonfrying" shrimp fries.CANDY!! You see that container marked "Dream Cacao"? Um, yeah, they're little cubes of dark chocolate covered in...dark chocolate. And they are incredibly incredible.
The maybe not-so-tasty 'treats.' This package really scares me and
we're not really sure what to do with it. Any suggestions?

Hey Brenda!! Your friend definately sent you some great treats from Korea! The "Dream Caco" is wonderful. Though at first the shrimp chips weren't a favorite of mine, so many places give them out as a snack with your coffee that I got used to them. I could never eat the dried squid - though Koreans would buy it as a snack at the theater instead of popcorn. Anyway, I know that this comment is totally out of the blue, I hope you are doing well! Your "little goat" is adorable by the way :)
hey, it's lanney!
Anyway, I was going to suggest sharing that last one with your cats.
I wonder if the shrimp chips are at all like the prawn crackers you get with Chinese food in Britain?...
Every single time somebody I know goes to Asia, they come back with a bag of alarming and strange "desserts." Never yet have I liked one. I'm still waiting for that day to come.
chocolate covered chocolate? I'm so coming over..
Hey, POCKY! Dude, we LOVE Pocky. (that's the long pretzel sticks dipped in chocolate - tast-ee.)
My kids and I are always talking about how there is all these great foods out there in the world that we will probably never, ever try and there you have some of it right in your house - how cool!! I hope you enjoy!
Take care - Kellan
Hey Bren - hope you had a good weekend. Did you eat any of those Squid yet - ACK!
Take care- Kellan
Ack! I just noticed your ticker. The LG is about to be 1! I remember her being born on Father's Day last year I think! When do we hear about the big b-day plans?
Yeah, I have a suggestion for that last pkg. Toss the innards, and keep the pkg. for a craft project. Because I like the label. But I don't like squid. Makes me want to dry heave.
Also, I really like the descriptive phrase, "incredibly incredible". :)
Also also, regarding your comment on my Weird Al post, that is indeed really him. I know! I was surprised too. I almost couldn't turn away. I couldn't believe that he could be so cute underneath all of that! :)
