Well this is what my parents were taking backroads to avoid today. I can only remember one other time when it was this bad and that was my freshman year of college. It was Spring Break and we were two days late getting home because the roads were so bad. Hopefully this weather will all have cleared up by the time I get home.

yep, there were some people who went skating on some of the highways, apparently. but at least it's warm(ish)
Wow! I have been on some icy roads, but that is nutso. We've had rain here the past 3 days (WEIRD for February), but so far it hasn't frozen yet.
We skated on our driveway and street. The street was probably smoother than the skating rink!
